What is it?

GTS Strategic Loss Management (SLM) System

What does it do?

GTS® SLM System was developed in support of GTS® Strategic Loss Management service offering and is Crawford's response to market/client needs for increased collaboration and transparency in the management of large and complex losses. It is a global, Web-based tool that will significantly improve accuracy of data and streamline claims capture, analysis and monitoring. The SLM System is designed to be easy to use, flexible, thorough, and save time, effort and money. Briefly, the SLM System is a password secured website-based claim collaboration tool that allows adjusters and clients to:
Access all information provided to date in one place—information that is searchable, sortable and secure and can be in the form of documents, photographs, videos and notes that are catalogued and instantly accessible
Upload large files for information sharing
View claim analysis

The system is part of the Crawford Desktop suite; it is built on the business process management platform Appian and leverages its workflow automation and business rules engine to enable the case-by-case customizability required by GTS® claims while also implementing SLA controls.

How does it help us?

GTS handles the largest, most complex claims in Crawford, often requiring extensive documentation and detailed analysis. Using SLM, adjusters, insurers, insured, and brokers can collaborate on and manage claim files, saving time and money for GTS and its clients. SLM’s current capabilities are robust and it will continue to evolve as a very effective tool for GTS.

Who uses it?

When was it launched?

January 2014 in the U.S., with global deployment following later this year.
